Croydon Council
In response to the high level of engagement by the Kenley community during the formal consultations for the Local Plan and Suburban Design Guide, the Regeneration Team has secured funding from the GLA to work with local people to develop a Community Plan which will inform investment priorities for the area. Our role will be to oversee the work carried out by the consultants and participate in events. Once the Plan is complete, we will seek funding to deliver the community's priorities and continue to engage with local people to ensure the project’s legacy.
Greater London Authority
This project is being supported by the GLA’s Good Growth Fund, which aims to give Londoners an opportunity to actively participate and have a say in how their city is shaped. They support the development of place-based strategies for growth that deliver social and economic benefits and opportunities for local communities. More information is available here.

AOC Architecture
A practice of architects and designers who specialise in working with community organisations and public bodies. AOC has been commissioned to deliver the Kenley Community Plan, we will work with the community to manage the project. AOC will work with Locality and Commonplace to ensure that the plan is representative of the residents of Kenley. Part of this will be by running events and producing resources that help make a good conversation about the potential for change in Kenley. We will share what we learn in a clear, well structured and illustrated final plan.
Locality
Locality is a registered charity (No 1036460). Locality is the national membership network for community organisations. We support community organisations to be strong and successful, to meet local needs and to give people a purpose, a good places to live and good health. Locality has been commissioned to undertake some research and engagement with communities in Kenley. The work is intended to help produce a Community Plan for the area that will help prioritise the improvements needed (economic, social and environmental) over coming years.
Commonplace
Commonplace connects you to the people who create the places where you live, work and play. A platform to speak and be heard by developers, councils, and public bodies to initiate better decisions and places for all.
